===Brain Dump: Ceelie===

So this morning we went to meet with Grapha. She is very involved with the whole Fateweaver Summit Thingy that we are going to. She gave us descriptions of what we should wear and said we should try to be as inoffensive as possible. I guess it sounds like most Fateweavers don't want "outsiders" at their summit and some of them will be offended just that we are there. We will need to be a little careful who we talk to and make sure we're very nice to everyone. Still, I think it will be fun and exciting! Luckily, D knows all kind of stuff about formal clothing so he knew exactly what she meant about how formal to dress, and he was able to explain to us what Grapha meant.

She also told us a little bit about what is happening with Mother Joule, and how she needs to sort of re-claim her place. I guess since she was asleep so long, everyone forgot about her or something. It seems weird how the Fateweavers work, with a spot for each one and they have to announce themselves of something. Anyway, the Mechanic has been the "Fateweaver of Technology" for a while now, and Mother Joule has to go to the summit to claim that title instead. So, there it is.

At this point we all needed to get our clothes in order for this thing! So, Li went off to China to get his formal robes from his monastery. I guess it isn't something you think to bring with you when you leave for a while. Who knew he'd be going to a formal occasion? I guess I don't even know what counts as a formal occasion in the monastery. Maybe when some visiting master comes from super far away. I'll have to ask some time.

And while Li was away, D took me to get a new dress. Yay! I decided to go with a little bit darker shade of blue, 'cause they had a pretty fabric this time, and Mister Tailor was really nice and put some shinies on the top of it for me. I like it very much, but I don't know how many occasions I will get to wear it. It is pretty fancy and I don't get to go out to fancy things too often. Some day, I should see if one of D's photographers has a fancy camera that can take a good picture of something little like me. Normal cameras don't work so well up that close and I come out looking all goofy and then I feel bad. I guess cute just doesn't show up on film so well.

Later, Li came to talk to D. It's 'cause Li wants to ask Mme Ruff for a date, and he doesn't know how or what to do or how to handle any of it. I don't blame him, all that date stuff is really weird. I am glad that E and I could just play together and it didn't have to be all weird and awkward, even if it made me feel funny and embarrassed sometimes. Poor Li. He will be happier once he gets used to all these new things out in the real world. I am glad D hasn't tried to shelter me too completely much, not that he really could even if he tried. But, he's a good dad. Even if he's really goofy most of the time.

D helped Li a lot with a bunch of advice and some moral support while he called Mme Ruff to set up a date. D helped make all the reservations and stuff, they are going to an upscale Chinese place that sounds like a lot of fun. They will go in a couple of days and have dinner out together and it will be SUPER CUTE! Anyway, D gave him way more dating tips than he could probably handle and his head was spinning so hard it was starting to make me dizzy, and I couldn't find Lily or Tara 'cause they were out in the real world trying on dresses, so I wandered off to fly around TOA.

After a little while of cruising, and getting some funny looks from people, I found Huxley. He was heading up to get some lunch and stopped to chat with me a little, and just then they were wheeling some dessert carts by. I am pretty sure Hux could see my eyes light up, as I stifled a giggle and started sneaking around behind the carts. Hux caught on real fast and accosted the caf workers with some awesome tirade that totally distracted them. I slipped onto the trays between the shelves on the cart, and started chowing down on the cheesecake shelf. Hux really had these guys going with some lecture about "hedonism" and how awful it was. I'll have to ask him later what that word means. Or look it up when I get home.

At some point I noticed D was going to take Li to shop for the right clothes to go on his date. I guess sometimes I am lucky that I don't need all these different clothes all the time, but on the other hand, it sure is fun to play dress-up. Anyway, the next shelf down had slices of chocolate chocolate chip pound cake. Delicious!

After a while, I managed to roll back out from behind the cart and sneak over to Hux, and climb up into his pocket. He took me over to the video editing room where they were doing all kinds of cool stuff with video clips. I guess they had all sorts of news clips and other stuff that they were picking through. I only watched for a little while, and then i curled up between the keyboard and the monitor of one of the computers to take a little nap. It's usually a nice warm little spot. I had a funny little dream about Tara and Li talking to each other and each one getting more and more red every time they said something until Tara was just as red as Li and then her head exploded like a pinata and a bunch of candy came flying out. It was really weird. Then later, I woke up back at home in my little house, all tucked in to my bed feeling snuggly and warm. I love you D!

Brain Dump: Ceelie
