Added 1 gallon of cold water, brought to a boil, added LME, returned to heat, brought to a boil again, started 1 hour timer and added kent golding hops. At 30 minutes, added irish moss. I think I want to make a braggot. That'll be interesting.
- 3.3 lbs (1 can) light lme
- 3.3 lbs (1 can) amber lme
- 1 lbs crystal 60
- .25 lbs chocolate malt
- .25 lbs honey malt
- 1 oz fuggle hops pellets
- 1 oz kent golding hops pellets
- 1 tsp irish moss
- 15 lbs TJ Clover honey
- 1 tube White Labs 007
- 2 tsp yeast energizer
Brought 2 gallons of water to 180F, soaked the grains for 45 minutes.
