Ohmygod omygod omg Zii's b-day yay yay! Zii is the awesom-- what? But, birthday! Wah. Okay, fine, I'll tell it in order. No, it's okay D, I know you get confused. It's alright.

So Lily has been totally absorbed in her computer as usual. Not literally, I guess. Though...hmm. I bet she could. I should ask some time. It would be cool. Anyway, no, she was busy talking to that disagreeing guy and freaking him out and stuff. Hee hee. Apparently he was like, zooming across the country or something. I guess he's on the run. I think his cult broke up with him. Or, maybe he dumped them. I never know which way that works. Anyway, I think Lily is starting to conspire with him a little. That can't be good (for the rest of the world.)

Then we got back to D's place. And he had this letter. And... and.. IT'S ZII'S BIRTHDAY! WOOOOooooOOOOoooOOOO! (I can talk about it now, right?)
 +

So this was the most awesome invitation ever, and Zii had this really cool party all planned and stuff, so I knew we had to get him some kind of really cool present 'cause it's Zii! I think D's idea was actually a little bit better than mine, but definitely not as cool to unwrap, and even if you have a really neat idea for a present, you still have to bring a '''thing''' to a party so they can open stuff. So D calls up Sly and plans this awesome cameo so Zii can show up in the next D-man movie. I could not wait to see the look on Zii's face when he found out about that one. And then I came up with the greatest thing idea ever -- a little mango tree!
 +
 +
So I dragged D out shopping to a big garden store out in the suburbs and found this adorable mango tree that was just little enough to fit in Zii's office, and got a good set of instructions that we could give to Lucy, because you know she'd end up taking care of it anyway, and it shouldn't be too difficult to care for, so now Zii can have a slice of mango in his tea any time!

It started getting a little late after we got home, and people went to sleep, but I stayed up and made adorable party hats for everyone. And I wrapped the tree. It was so great. I wrapped every branch! It took most of the night, but it was absolutely totally worth it. Sorry about the mess though.

Li, meanwhile, was getting up and making his rice porridge and stuff, and he and that lady Lidle had breakfast and all. I guess they were pretty close to where she was supposed to meet up with those people she was going to meet, so they had a short little morning hike. These dudes came and landed in a helicopter. You know how Li is always a little bit cautious and defensive, particularly when he gets the sense that the person he's helping seems a touch lost or lonely, or unsure. So he had to grill these folks about who they were and what their plans were regarding Lidle. The one he talked to was named Tarcinel, a member of Altovive. It's some sort of society that helps people who are different or have strange abilities. It's based in the Ring of Fire. I don't know where that is. Maybe we can have Lily punch it into Google or something. I wonder if it's on Google maps? Those are cool. I played with them once when D wasn't using his computer.

Anyway, Li apparently thought everything was okay enough that he let Lidle go with these Altovive folks. Li flew back to the monastery and reported to his Master about it all. That's when the Master gave him....his invitation to ZII'S BIRTHDAY PARTY! WOOOOooooOOOooooOOooo!

Li decided to do something most Chinese monkish, and pained a lovely calligraphy scroll with Zii's name and a neat little brush painting and stuff. It was very pretty. I wonder if he'll hang it up behind his desk. Well, once he'd finished, and let it dry, and rolled it up all neat, he came back to TOA HQ.

Pretty soon after that it was time to wake everyone up and go to the party! We had a quick breakfast and I put on one of my nice dresses and we went and it was at an awesome tropical island! There was a huge pile of presents, and we put ours on the stack. I made sure we wedged the tree in the middle, so all the presents were spread around under the tree. It was extra cute.

We got to see a bunch of people we haven't seen in a while too. Dan was there, and Deen, and some other folks. I hung out with Shardra for a while. I keep forgetting that Zii is kinda her dad. She was saying how it was a little weird watching all the women flirt with her dad -- 'cause, everyone was flirting with Zii. And I nodded, and said yeah, it is. And then I think...wait a minute, you flirt with my dad all the time! She was so confused. It was the best shocked face ever. I couldn't stop giggling while she was stammering and stuttering and asking D funny questions. He finally had to tell her I wasn't hers. It was awesome. Then I hung out with her for a while. We hit the food table a couple times, planted a hat on Zii (kinda...ish...hey, shut up), and said hi to Grapha. Grapha was wearing her awesome headdress, just like in that show I did that one time. It was brilliant.

Li got to talk to this lady named Sendrael, who is the president of Altovive. She explained how they work on preserving life. I think after talking to her, and knowing that Altovive and TOA are on good terms, Li felt better about the whole thing with Lidle and all.

The Maestra was at the party too, and did a neat performance with D. I wasn't paying too much attention 'cause I was totally waiting for Zii to open his presents. He finally got around to that and I think he almost cried when he found out about the cameo. It was the best present ever. He also loved the tree. It was perfect! I am glad we found such nice things to give Zii for his birthday.

Brain Dump: Ceelie

So this was the most awesome invitation ever, and Zii had this really cool party all planned and stuff, so I knew we had to get him some kind of really cool present 'cause it's Zii! I think D's idea was actually a little bit better than mine, but definitely not as cool to unwrap, and even if you have a really neat idea for a present, you still have to bring a thing to a party so they can open stuff. And then I came up with the greatest thing idea ever -- a little mango tree!
