Brought 10 ~180F, added soverign hops, and started a 1 hour timer. At 30 minutes, added the irish moss. At 15 minutes added the fuggle hops. Cooled in a sink full of cold water to ~88F. I decided to go with a flavorful, high-gravity pale ale, still english style though.
- 1 lbs Muntons Extra-Light DME
- 6.6 lbs (2 cans) Muntons Extra-light LME
- 1.4 lbs (1 can) Alexanders SUn Country Pale LME
- .5 lbs Golden Promise malt
- .25 lbs Honey malt
- .25 lbs Maris Otter malt
- .25 lbs Optic malt
- 1 oz Fuggle hops pellets
- 1 oz Soverign hops pellets
- 1 tube White Labs 002 English Ale yeast
- 1 tsp Irish Moss
- 5 oz priming sugar
