i'm kinda liking the 'shield of darkness' idea...make it harder to pick off the healer, and the total concealment would mean no AOOs.

For example, if I give up Wholeness of Body (level 7), for Dragon Breath (level 8)... so I hit level 7, gain nothing, but then at 8 I get the ability? I'm asking because I see abilities at level 8 and 10, but no ability to swap until level 11... so why would they differentiate those levels?

do you know if that destroys them for good? do you know how many there were, or how many may remain?

I had heard once you destroy the gem, they don't come back.
But...well, all of them were destroyed.
I had heard the Kolphan Family were looking into historical projects. Mister Darius once performed a private comedy show for me. A "roasting" as it were.

This CF talked about "the other Lucavan" several times. about endangering them, and about wanting me and Miss Marjorie, of all people, to carry on the mission before they do.
Either she's very confused, a very good liar, or not the only Lucavan who remains.

Alexen Dakan: I'll certainly keep an eye out for any Lucavan related activity. Each Lucavan, or at least the ones who were willing to speak, have their own version of conquest.

George: Did we save all of the purple guys, or did the privateers make off with one of them?
(GM) Chad S. (GM): All have been rescued.

Cat: oh yeah, all the good rolls coming out now.
Nidri rouses one of the Noblewomen back to consciousness.
Cat: also, i'll basically coast back down to the deck when my minute runs out.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Hawk and Claire? Any last second stuff?
Meghan: I feel like I ought to save that fireball thing for next time...
but no, I'm good.

Chris: Fi can handle 175 on her own, So doing both at the same time would probably require Fleir.
George: Hawk stops singing.

(GM) Chad S. (GM): Damage to the ship is mostly at the bow of the ship, where two ice pillars slowly melt against the tropical heat.
Melanie Mel: Well, that was fun! Anyone died besides some of the pirates?

(GM) Chad S. (GM): I added a document, "Captain Limon's Loot" to the handouts. I assume you strip the dead pirates of their gear.
Within the minute, some of the crew emerge and start patching the ship.
Additionally, most of the nobles come to their senses and stand up. They remember some pirates boarding, but then their attention shifted to pleasant fog...
Melanie Mel: Hmpf. Looks like these two are a bit bruised, but they're still breathing. Some rest will save 'em.
Hawk Hubertins: Fi, how's Fleir doing? That dragon turtle has a nasty steamy breath, as you saw.

Driana Hodgins turns and sees a dead aquatic elf on deck. She holds her lunch long enough to run below deck.
Nidranisan: no no, you're supposed to puke over the side.

Melanie Mel: She's not used to the sea.
Nidranisan: i noticed.
Melanie Mel: Alright, I'll tell the crew to clean this deck up.
The ice will melt in...maybe half an hour. It is getting warm.
Melanie returns to her chair, snaps her fingers to clear some of the blood and flops right back on it as some of the crew strip the Right Hand Man and toss him overboard.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): That's it for me tonight. The next 4 days will go smoothly, so prepare questions and any rolls for me in the meantime.
Also, I'm planning to clear the chat log this weekend. Any objectives?

On the fourth and final day of travel, Nidri finally figures out what the captain's short spear was.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Blue tans to a darker blue
Nidranisan: well, that was gonna drive me nuts.
Nidranisan mumbles.
Cat: by the time we get there, nidri has developed some tan lines, and sort of idly listened to whoever melanie would chat with (if anyone).
Chris: Everyone is probably sick of fish at this point, since Fi has been providing a lot for the galley.
Hernz: veg doesn't need any of that loot... if anyone does, mark it in there

Melanie seems interested in the party's adventures ever since they met Merki. She also talks about some exotic business deals she had to strike up.
Melanie Mel: Giants actually like to wear elastic clothing. One size fits all, I guess.
It's easier to sell them enchanted clothing, since it resizes itself.
If you can force a goblin to focus on a task, they're surprisingly inventive. Mr Snock! built this thing that organizes my undergarments by color, shape and purpose. Makes it easy for me.
There aren't many pirates off the east coast- I've heard they are afraid of a dragon or something.
When Melanie isn't eating or sleeping, she's comparing rumors with the nobles.
