Good Ol' Booze List
From UtterChaos
Reds
- Monticello 1997 Gran Reserva Rioja
- Norton Malbec
- Lisa 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (no longer imported into the USA, so if you can find me a bottle, I'll be all the happier)
Whites
- Riesling with the word "Piesporter" on a blue-green label (can't remember exactly what it said because I'd had much of the bottle)
- Lisa 2003 Chardonnay (rumored to also no longer be imported into the USA)
- Viu Manent "Secreto" Viognier (the "stinky man" wine)
- Casillero del Diablo Chardonnay
Dessert
- Kindzmarauli in the clay bottle. The perennial gift that's always in good taste.
- Mavrodaphne (a palatable and cheaper substitute for Kindzmarauli)
- Taylor Fladgate Tawny, 10 year (or 20, if you're interested in getting in bed with me)
- 2000 Royal Tokaji
- Meda Margherita Moscato D'Asti (solely available through the Traveling Vineyards company)
- Inniskillin ice wine
- Kittering Ridge ice wine
- La Niege Ice Cider
- Nachtgold "Arschwein" (well, not really... I wouldn't drink it, but the little black bottle does bring back a lot of good memories when I'm sad)
- That one bottle of really amazing banana mead that I brought back from Arizona (bonus points if you also include the guy who made it in the gift box)
The Liquors
- Amaretto DiSaronno
- Frangelico
- Kirsch (the one that comes in the tall skinny triangular bottle... I can't remember the brand, again because I'd had a little too much of it, but I think it's Eau de Vie)
- Hennessey VSOP or XO
The Beers
- Arrogant Bastard Ale (oaked or unoaked, both are delicious)
- Stone IPA or Ruination IPA
- Unibroue
- CBC's Pumpkin Ale
- Dundee's Honey Brown
- Warsteiner
- Sam Adams White Lager
- Stella Artois
Actually, I like many beers. It's going to be hard to list all of them, and I love it when people introduce me to new brands of tasty beers. Just stay away from the Bud Lites and the Nasty Natty, and it'll all be good
