LongestRoad Jutestream

Jutestream is a small kingdom of merfolk on the Plane of Water. It is built on a number of large land masses that are woven together with kelp and other structures. Many many statues line the edges of the land; they are golems made to protect the city. They can only be commanded by someone wearing the Crown artifact.

The merfolk on the Plane of Water have a rigid caste system. They are ruled by the warrior caste, and the priest and mage castes advise the ruler. The warrior-rulers defend the city from threat, and there's usually plenty of danger to go around. Unfortunately, an archmage recently got into his head that he was totally better suited to ruling the people. This has ended (predictably) terribly. He is a bad naughty paranoid dictator.

Hatarn 

King of the merfolk, he is an older dude. Currently he is imprisoned by Nemayon.

Penaiah 

5-year old princess. She is probably adorable. Penny is also being held captive by Nemayon.

Nemayon 

The Usurper, an archmage and total dick. Also he probably has the bronze orb. He desperately wants the Crown artifact that Berreas probably has.

Berreas

The Crown Prince, emphasis on the Crown part. He is holed up a ways off with some rebels, but his hands are tied while his dad and baby sister are captive.

Arramincia

Berreas's lover, Arya is rebel-rousing back in town and giving the common folk hope.

Serahn 

An archmage, but not a total dick! A friend of TOM and all around nice guy. He loves his daughter, Vitaria.

Vitaria 

A young warrior in way over her head, but that's life, huh? Her dad's custom-kitted her out, which makes up some for her lack of experience, but they both worry about each other a lot.
