Definitions
Energy Points (EP) will be the thing creatures consume to do things in game. Each creature has a certain number of each type of EP. The maximum is that creature's "pool", which can be spent on actions.
- HP are health points, and a measure of life.
- SP are stamina points, and represent a creature's capacity for physical exertion.
- MP are mental points (or magic points) and represent a creature's capacity for mental exertion.

Scale of pools
Total number of energy points should be based on level with some variation. Split should be based on stats.
Actions that use EP
Examples of things that drain the various EP types are below. Please note that some things will drain more than one category. For example, a raise-dead spell may drain the hp, sp, and mp of the caster in order to bring another creature back to life.
