I hate doing research, but I’m suspicious that Manny might slip out and try to get with some slutty girl, so I’m taking him with me to the tower and pretending I’m gonna do research. Maybe some alone time with him will prove useful teehee.

Hm… he seems to actually be resisting my subtle attempts and actually wants to do research. Well, at least I get to spend time alone with him, maybe I’ll ask him about his vampire hunting days… he seems very passionate about it. He’s teaching me about zombies and it’s actually interesting. Religion (at least the way he teaches it) seems interesting! Who knew there were so many types of vampires?!

I’m thinking my gift idea will be great now… I just have to save up… sigh, still over 1000 GPs… man, I hope we get to go on a really important mission and we get rewarded really well… otherwise that present’s gonna take forever to get. Or I could look into getting a cheaper enchantment from those “amateur” enchanters… hm… something to think about.

Hm… Asterra has “perfume”… I noticed it smells really nice… hm… maybe I need to get some that Manny might like… yes, that’s what I need! She also has all this nice jewelry… she does look really nice… not as pretty as me, of course… but I need to save the money for now.

Oh right, back to this stupid research… my mind needs to stop wandering… agh… this isn’t making much sense… maybe the girls made more progress.

Yes… apparently we found out how to do the ritual… something about clerics getting stronger by it. Hm, and apparently, I could also get those spells… but I’m sure that doesn’t compare to the spells and skills of my clan. Sigh, just as I’m finally getting some alone time with Manny, Mara screws up something on her research and ruins the moment… sigh.

Maggie’s son… meah… nothing compared to my Manny… not that he’d be my type either… I better not give the wrong signals cause I don’t want Manny jealous.

Manny is always late meeting us for breakfast… wonder if he’s up all night doing tons of research… he certainly seems to know a lot, I’m sure that’s what he’s doing… what a hard worker. I’m honstely sick of all this research… blah… I’m getting to read cool books though. I’m sure I’ll impress Manny at this rate.

Yay! Asterra says she’ll take me shopping for perfume once we get to Skryfe. And we got attacked by a troll… Stupid Totoro keeps vanishing when I go to sleep. I need to get better at maintaining my concentration… he would have been much more useful than the eagle, granted, I’m proud it did good and took down the troll… much better than Totoro could have done anyway…
