Scrapelle recipe

Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 5 tsp salt
- 2 envelopes of yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 potatoes, mashed well
- Enough water to knead into dough
Instructions
- Sift flour into bowl
- Add salt and sugar
- Bloom yeast according to directions
- Add mashed potatoes and yeast to flour mixture
- Knead together and add water as needed to make dough sitcky but not too mushy
- Let rise for over an hour until doubles in size (use a oiled bowl and cover it)
- Deep fry in oil at 375 degrees in strips or balls
- Serve as is or with powdered sugar
